World Cup 2010 Nations

• GDP per capita and life expectancy data are from the World Bank website.
• GDP per capita amounts are in current U.S. dollars.
• World Cup win tallies are from the FIFA website.
• I entered in all available data for 1960, 1970, 1980, 1990, 2000 and 2008. The gadget approximated the data for the intervening years, apparently assuming a linear pattern.
• Some of the data in the 1960 fields are from later years. Argentina's per capita GDP is from 1962 and Australia's and Paraguay's are from 1965. Portugal's life expectancy is from 1962.
• Two other datapoints are from years slightly later than indicated. They are Slovakia's per capita GDP (1982) and Serbia's life expectancy (1991).
